ENABLE VOLTAGE CONTROL "FIX"
Step 1: Go to your MSI Afterburner Profiles folder (C:\Program Files (x86)\MSI Afterburner\Profiles)
Step 2: Right-click the file named "VEN_10DE&DEV..." and go > Properties > Security
Step 3: Select "Edit" and then click on "Users (username\Users)" and with the permission boxes below, check "Allow" for the first box - Full control.
Click OK and OK again (this allows the file to be saved after editing it).
Step 4: Now you can open the file named "VEN_10DE&DEV..." in WordPad and replace everything you see with this:
[Startup]
Format=2
CoreVoltageBoost=
PowerLimit=
ThermalLimit=
ThermalPrioritize=
CoreClkBoost=
MemClkBoost=
[Settings]
VDDC_Generic_Detection=1
With these settings it was only now possible for me to set the Core Voltage with the MSI Afterburner V4.6.4.16255. Long searched and now finally it works.
I had to enter and save my 5 configuration renewed afterwards, but now the Core Voltage is unlocked, to get the temperature below 92 degrees Celsius.
Standard on the MSI R9 280x 6GB was 1.20 volts, occasionally 1.165 volts (0,980 volts).
This can finally be changed to work the Core Clock 1020MHz and RAM Clock 1500MHz with reasonable temperatures.
Test voltage has to be found. Tip 0.1 volt reduction and test again and again with Furmark!

SPANNUNGSREGELUNG "FIX"
[Startup]
Format=2
CoreVoltageBoost=
PowerLimit=
ThermalLimit=
ThermalPrioritize=
CoreClkBoost=
MemClkBoost=
[Settings]
VDDC_Generic_Detection=1
Testspannung muss man herausfinden. Tip 0,1 Volt Senkung und immer wieder Testen mit Furmark!
Gruß Jens
